Some of the steps won't be necessary ,but I recommend you following them.
Most of the vista users will get an error message loading the data.

SORRY I MADE A MISTAKE. I PUT RedTool INSTEAD OF redsn0w.

Requirements: [Assuming you already have it downloaded.]

    redsn0w - DOWNLOAD HERE

    What to do:

    Search stuff on this forums.

Problem #2 : You are not running it as a Windows XP program.

    1. Go into properties.
    2. And then Compatibility.
    3. Change settings, Compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and put a check on Run this program as Administrator. Press Apply.
    4. Run redsn0w.

Problem #3 : Not Restarting Jailbreak Process.

    How to restart jailbreak process.

    1. Pull out iPod Touch.
    2. Quit out RedTool.

Why do you need libusb for redsn0w?

Gladly, you don't need LibUSB, so this works flawlessly on 64bit Windows.

Interestingly enough, it seems that redsn0w in fact uses libusb, but somehow planetbeing managed to compile it either so that it doesn't require the driver, or in some way that it was statically compiled into the binary. I'm very intrigued and I hope to be moving that sort of innovation into redTool 2.0, rather than requiring users to install libusb.

I thought it used the AppleMobileDevice driver.

I think it might for a few functions here and there, but I can't promise that. I do know that it used to, but I haven't had the chance to see Pwnmetheus2 so it may or may not use bits and pieces of it.
