ok so first off error (6) could not restore is because your boot logos are invalid. HOWEVER! don't worry. all you need to do is direct your self to www.ziphone.org and downlaod ziphone. once u get into ziphone under advanced option simply click normal mode. this will know boot your ipod into normal mode and your ipod will be working completly with the custom firmware

hope this helps alot of people

also i have heard that iliberty+ has an option to kick it into normal mode but i don't have iliberty+ and have never used it so i can't confirm this

Are you sure becuase when you do the restore and you get the error (6) it actually just boots back into the previous fireware you had so will ZiPhone just reboot it back into the Custom Firemware??

Mine kicked it out of recovery mode and then stuck me with the previous firmware I had.

    So it doesn't always work.

This works for some people. But when you go to turn it off. When you turn it back on it will kick you back into recovery mode. JSYK

It is not a battery problem. It is that your boot or restore imakges are too big of a file

I know 2.0 is beta firmware etc but when I choose 240d with no boot logos I still get this error and when i get ziphone to kick it in to normal mode it does nothing just have ziphone stuck trying to get it into normal mode and the ipod just shows its still in recovery mode

Well the final 2.0 has not been cracked so right now it doesn't matter. I would just hold off a couple weeks and see what happens when it's released by Apple and how the jailbreak community responds.
