Download iOrder. Next sftp into your ipod and download this file.
    /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/N45AP.plist
Open that file with iOrder and where it says number of apps hidden make that 0. Then save the file and reupload it overwriting the previous one. Then restart your ipod and all of your icons will be back.

Or you can use customize and manually hide or unhide apps

    customize doesnt fix it.

and you dont need to do all that with iorder. just use iorder as you onrmally do and when you upload the new plist to your ipod it automatically revives your dead aps.

mine icons also dissapeared using Categories app, I know how to use wifi to connect to my ipod. But here is the problem I have this app which turns shh off (to save energy) now the icon to turn shh on is gone I can't turn it on.
When I can't turn it on I can't put IOrder on my ipod...
*searching how to connect to my ipod without wifi now*
