HOW TO: Fix Apollo AIM for 1.1.3

    No luck

    i have tried both downloads in installer the boss tolls Apollo fix as well as beekmans fix and i tried using total commander to go in and change the host file, any one have suggestions do i need to ssh into my ipod and do i have to change the permission? Thanks also i am using 1.1.3 and i am trying to log in to msn

    EDIT. Also beekmans fix will not download i get a error and it does not download.

    Changing permisions is always a good start. They may already be correct but you never know.

    yeah well i just used total commander and added the host file, then installed Apollo then it gave me the same error again then i exited it and then tried again and worked fine . Thanks everyone who helped with this

    Another way

    Go to Tweaks (1.1.3) and install 'Apollo IM 1.1.3 Fix.'

    It makes the job alot faster and easier. And yes, it does works.

    It should be there if you have Community Sources Version 3.6 (BigBoss's Apps and Things). If it's not, refresh your sources.

    i did that earlier and was having trouble with it , worked one time then didnt work any longer, any ideas?

    same here, installed update and it kinda works and don't.

    Managed to connect after ~5 attempts, but couldn't send messages? Received few from my friend for testing purposes, but later on even that failed..

    I guess there is serious problems with Apollo app at the moment.

    This will only work for AIM not MSN. Sorry.

    I haven't tried any of the repos yet so I wouldn't know anything about those.

    apollo working

    the method of adding the host in the OP has been working for me all day not having any problems and i am running 1.1.3 and i am using a msn account and i used total commander, i didn't need to change permission or anything just added host file installed apollo and everything has been fine.
