I jailbroke my 2nd gen ipod touch with redsn0w. What I got is Cydia. How can I get installer so I can install springboad and then install new theme for my ipod?

One question about those season board: are they all the same and people just change the way they call them due to the season they are in now? like at my place it's Spring so we call it Springboard? and in next 2 months, it turns to Summer then I change it (or remove and install) the summerboard?

    Hahahahahahahahaha

SpringBoard is the main thing of the iPod touch. Its the pages that hold all the apps.

Summerboard is an old 1.1.X customization tool to change themes

Winterboard is for 2.X.X to change themes

You can download themes from Cydia, then use Winterboard to turn them on.

If you want Installer its in the SOSiPhone Repo

Cool. Good to know that Nburnes. Thanks. Can you show me in detail how I can get the Winterboard since mine is version 2.x.
And the installer, you said it's in SOSiPhone Repo, how I get there?

    Thanks

Go into Cydia and go to search tab and type Winterboard and find the Winterboard installer and install it.

For SOSiPhone: On main page of Cydia go to more packaged sources find SOSiPhone, install it, go to search tab at the bottom and look up Installer, but not Installer FR as that is the French version.
