    You need a camera for facetime. The iPad 1 doesnt have a camera, only iPad 2. Hope this answers your questions Intell.

    No camera is needed. Even audio isn't a requirement.

    I found a bug. Trying to use a iPod4,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw
    firmware on an iPad and I'm getting an error. 'cp /Volumes/Tellurride9A334.N81OS/System/Library/Audio/UISounds' no such file or directory. In the file chooser it says "Where is the iPod Touch 4G 5.0.0 IPSW" Judging from the mount in /Volumes it wants a 5.0.0 and not a 5.0.1 firmware

    possibly another one. After renaming my mount point in /volumes to something without a ' I managed to get farther. It was stuck on 'Installing files' for a really long time before it died out on 'cp: symlink: _CodeSignature/CodeResources: No such file or directory'. Guessing it's trying to create Applications.zip since that appears to be an incomplete file.

    I haven't encountered that bug with my test builds and iFacePad doesn't make any zip files. How did you jailbreak?

    The source is closed and will not be released. I'll be jailbreaking a device with the latest redsn0w within a few days so that I can examine the filesystem layout.
