Thought this would be useful, this allows you to save and play all emulators on 1.1.3, including SNES, NES, and GBA.

Simply SSH into your iPod, using putty, WinSCP, etc.

    Run the following commands:

    chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/mobile/Media/ROMs/*
    chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/root/Media/ROMs/*

Reboot your iPod, enjoy playing and saving games.

you need to ssh in from a computer, using the iPod itself and Terminal or Term-vt100 will not work due to their inability to set permissions because they are a "mobile" user. try it from a computer

Ok, so can someone tell me what I need to do to accomplish this using winscp? I've been having problems, and this sounds like what I need, but I don't wanna wreck anything.

scratch that, figured it out, didn't help.

Here's where my problem is... I'm used to 1.1.1, where I could copy the .srm and .smc files between zsnes on my computer and the snes emulator on my touch, and my in game save files would copy with it. To avoid a longer story, I was forced to get a new touch which came with 1.1.4, and rather then downgrading I jailbroke that. My ROMs all seem to be working in the mobile directory now, but I have two problems. One is that, atleast on my SNES emulator, I can save state and load state, but when I try to overwrite it deletes. It could be a permission problem since my roms are set to 755 and not 777. The bigger problem though is that I can no longer copy over the .srm and .smc files and transfer my saves. Help?
