OK i found out how to edit an app on windows it is tricky but rewarding and fun plus it is a skill you'll know forever
    Things youll needInstructions
    1. Find the app you want to edit
    2. Change the file extension from .ipa to .zip
    3. Using WinRAR extract the app to a folder on you desktop
    4. Right click on the iTunesMetadata.plist hit edit with Notepad++
    5. There you can edit the name of the app who bought it and the company(if you edit this info you wont receive updates)
    6. You can edit the app icon by renaming iTunesAtrwork to iTunesArtwork.png and edit it or just change the icon completely
    7. Click on payload, whatever.app there you can edit any of the image files and html files
    8. Go back to the folder that just shows 1 folder and 2 files highlight them all
    9. Right click, click add to archive when you do that under Archive format click ZIP
    10. Under Archive name rename to whateveyouwant.ipa
    11. Double click and add it to iTunes library sync to your iPhone
    Your done now enjoy
please post if I missed anything or tell me how well it went

Yeah, but at least half of it looks the same as the other post. My main problem is your statement 'I found out how to edit apps on Windows'. All of it has already been found out, and I tutorialized the metadata edit a few days ago.

I believe this may be due to one of two reasons: MobileInstallation may need to patched (I understand that we are not supposed to discuss this, but since the purpose of this is not to crack applications but rather to edit your paid ones, is it OK?). The second reason may be that changing the information in the iTunesMetadata.plist may be causing problems. You'll notice that there's usually two figures for everything, like it will specify the seller name, then the seller ID. The ID may not match the name, so this could cause issues. I have posted instructions on how to edit application metadata here. There is a download link for the format of an iTunesMetadata.plist file with the ID's removed and simplified, so try using that one. Read the thread to get some more info about it, and reply if it helps you
