[How-To] Downgrade from 2.0 to 1.1.4

    It does say that, but you have to put the iPod in DFU mode and it should pop up in iTunes. And there you can restore 1.1.4

    Scratch what I said. I figured out the problem. You must be iTunes 7.5, well atleast for me I had to. Thank you Johnny for the 7.5 download because I only had 7.6

    I followed exactly how the guide went. Word for word. Is the only way to go. I have only been doing this for like the last half-hour or so. And I am successfully on my 1.1.4 firmware.

    That might be my problem... There might be some quirk in Mac OS X that is slightly different than the Windows iTunes...

    I am just scared to try it again, I have tried probably 12 times today :(

    i cant get mine into dfu mode. i have tried manual, i have tried ziphone. i cant get it to work. i'm stuck in restore mode.
