[HOW TO] downgrade from 2.0 to 1.1.4 (iphone)

    First

This is a guide for downgrading from 2.0 to 1.1.4 for iphone only GoJonnyBoi wrote a very good guide for the ipod touch here:

    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showth...Win/061-3902.20071105.G6edS/iTunes75Setup.exe"]http:////appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iTunes7/Win/061-3902.20071105.G6edS/iTunes75Setup.exe"]http://http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iTunes7/Win/061-3902.20071105.G6edS/iTunes75Setup.exe[/URL] (windows)

Second: You need GO INTO DFU MODE which can be done by holding home and power while conected to itunes, waiting till the iphone disappears out of itunes. A second later let go of the power button keeping your finger on he home button until it reappears in itunes at this point you should have a blank screen which is right if not then try again.

At this point press Shift and restore to 1.1.4 which you can find here

YOU WILL GET AN ERROR AT THIS STAGE ALONG THE LINES OF 16.. OR 01..

AFTER THIS YOU SHOULD HAVE THE 1.1.4 RECOVERY MODE SCREEN WHICH WILL BE AN ITUNES ICON AND A CABLE IF THE ITUNES ICON HAS ITUNES WRITTEN UNDER IT YOUR STILL ON 2.0 YOUVE GONE WRONG, IF YOU HAVE HE 1.1.4 SCREEN PROCEED TO THE NEXT STEP

Thrid: Download ziphone or iliberty + it doesn't matter at this stage and put your iphone into normal mode in the advanced features.

You should now have a working 1.1.4, you can now unlock and activate it, and jailbreak which is needed,

But you'l notice you've got no signal :/ don't worry that's step four:

Fourth: Download Bootneuter from installer it should already be in there no sources need to be added

Once it downloaded open it and click 3.9 turn neuter on and unlock on, press flash this could take along time and i wouldn't interrupt it this could be very costly

After that you should have a working iphone in 1.1.4 and unlocked and activated

Credits go to go jonny boi odiously and the iphone dev team for bootneuter

can people point out any spelling mistakes ive tried hard but im sure there are still some :

The bootloader flash failed (Error 5)

I did everything you said. I did not get any signal. So like you had said i installed bootneuter to the iphone. I pressed 3.9, neuter on, and unlock on. Then it gave me an error saying...The bootloader flash failed (error 5).
