See if you can get on a school computer connected to the wireless network. You should be able to see its network connection.

heh i went to the office and their network is shown. but my school is a college campus meaning there is another wifi connection throughout the school. (many routers throughout the school). the office desktops...lack the ability to show the name i tried. And im pretty sure if it's in the office...it must be using the office connection which i already connected to. I would like to use it throughout my school. Please help me

Have you tried Wifinder? Plenty of people don't like it, but I find it useful that it shows all the hidden networks. From that point, just jot down the network name and go back through Settings to type it in.

Wi-Finder in in the iTunes App Store. That means all iPod Touches and iPhones, jailbroken or not, can download it.

Sorry for overlooking that. In that case as another user said use wififinder. Or just search wifi in the Appstore - you never know what might pop up
