    whats the problem with installer?

cus if you unstall installer, then then you cant unstall anything else.

i was having trouble with my brother's installer, but i fixed it and it works great

Have you tried uninstalling the zip codes app just to see if that fixes it first?

There is one way that you could do it without a computer, but it would be MUCH easier with a computer and SSH.

However, if you still want to try it, download the terminal app (term-vt100) via installer. Once it's installed do this:
    1. Open it up
    2. password is alpine
(ignore the quotes below when typing it in)
    3. Type: "cd /Applications" (make sure the A is capitalized) then hit return
    4. Type: "rm -fR Installer.app" then hit return
    5. Restart your iPod

Make sure you type it exactly like that (notice the capital A in Applications and the capital R in -fR)

    That will remove the Installer
