Am having trouble figuring out how to delete this app that failed to download completely. iTunes always tries to continue the download every time I sync my device even when I removed it from the download list. Is it going to be stuck in my iPod forever? Please help....

Hmm... this happened to me with an update to an app once. I was at home downloading the update over wifi, but then I had to leave and I took my device with me believing that it would just return to the download later. Instead it just stopped and I was stuck with the little loading bar half full all day, unable to use the app. I'm sorry that I can't remember what I did to fix it, but I believe it just restarted or gave up or something within a day, because it was back to the previous version the next day. Try rebooting your iPod. That might have been it.

Happened to me once as well, just re-connect to an internet source (Wi-Fi) and press it, it should reset it self and restart the download but this time try to not interrupt it this time.

Tried it, didn't work.. Thanks anyway

Tried that to but it loads to about a 1/4 then little or no progress noticed from then on. It actually drained nearly all my battery waiting for it to complete. Is there another way other than restoration?

Turn the I pod/i pad/i phone off when it is plugged into the computer and it will automatically and it should work.

Do a hard restart, hold home+power button until the apple logo appears
