Basically, every time I re-formatted my HD, I had to authorize iTunes. I was complete idiot, and forgot to de-authorize for the 5th time, so now I'm unable to authorize my computer. How do I fix this?

If you log into your account in iTunes, their should be an option to "De-authorize All"

    View Account, most likely.

I had to do the same thing a few years ago.

GO to iTunes store, then click your user name in the top right corner. It will direct you to account information, and if you have authorized 5 computer it will give you the option to deauthorized all computer. You can only do this once a year, so remeber too deauthorize before you format your HDD next time

^ True that. I used the de-authorize all option once as well. I just wish that the one year limit were removed though...
