First off most of the credit goes to the person who made the myspace app. if you want to make bookmarks on the homescreen of any site this is how you do it. you need to be jailbroken for this to work!!!

download the file i have attached. (its a sms website mod)

extract the contents of the zip

now that it is extracted, there will be a folder called SMS.app.

change the name of the folder to what you want it to show on springboard. (example: ipodtouchfans.app)

then go into that folder and you should see four files.

icon.png is going to be the icon that will show up on the homescreen. so change that png to whatever you want.

then open up Info.plist in worpad. look for where it says com.SMS.embark
change the SMS part to the name that you gave the app earlier (example: com.ipodtouchfans.embark)

then look for the line that says http://sms.dynadel.com/

change this to whatever the URL is of the site you want it to go to. (example: http://www.ifans.com) then save the plist.

now just copy the app over to your applications folder.

    DONT FORGET TO 755 IT!!!

    well have fun ; ]

    Thanks!

Thank you for the clear and easy to follow instructions. It worked perfectly for me. Yet another reason not to pay $20 for the 1.1.3 pack.
