How can I add a Tap to Unlock feature to a WinterBoard theme that I am making? Thanks.
I'm not sure if Winterboard supports tap to unlock. If it does I haven't seen any on Cydia.
If it's anything like Customize, make the slider icon 275-280 pixels wide.
So then how?
It sure works with Customize. Check out some of those 'tap to unlock' icons with a graphic viewer - the picture size is 275 or so pixels wide by 50 pixels high. At that point, even touching the icon will 'move' it enough to unlock.
Here's my suggestion - someone find a Winterboard theme with a slider, then go into Bundles/com.apple.Springboard and then change the grey slider by making the graphic wider or putting the slider in the middle of a graphic that wide, and then try it.
Edit: Here's a link to one of the 'Tap to Unlock' themes on Customize.
Notice the image there? It's 275px × 47px according to the image properties.
it does work with winterboard, the vista maximus theme uses one i think
yup. 275x47 works fine. just call it "bottombarknobgray" and put it inside com.apple.TelephontUI
And yes, name it bottombarknobgray for unlock, bottombarknobred for power off and bottombarknobgreen for answering.
All PNGs BTW
it has to be put inside com.apple.TelephonyUI (it has a y not a t...)
Separate names with a comma.
