click setting /wifi then 'other' located at bottom of list of networks
will ask for " network name" enter your network name

then "security' tap to the right where it say's NONE Tap this will take you to where you can choose the type of security you are using so now pick your security

once you have done that tap " other network" in top left hand corner will take you back

    To add to your post:

    * Some Linksys routers, don't play well with Apple products, (A cheap ~$30USD Belkin G Wireless router, works like a champ!)

    * Making your SSID invisible, might also make things difficult,

    * If you can connect to your WiFi router, but can't get on the 'Net, go back to the Settings for your connection on the iPodT, click the right arrow on the SSID in question, then scroll to the bottom, and tap on "Renew Lease".

You should be good to go.
