    Hi everyone!

I've seen many requests for removing the dock from the springboard (not only on this forum). It surely can be used for whatever you want to do. Whether you just want your springboard to be dock-free and look more like some icons only or whether you just want to improve themes like Zune HD Ultimate by Appman (because you can flick through pages where the dock has been before.)

There is also a paid app in rock (i think) which does it another way but this way is free and easy. This doesn't even use any system things. Basically it's just a very tiny transparent 1px image

    .

    So here it goes:

1- Remove every Icon from your Dock (otherwise they will just hide)

2- Download this NoDock.theme.rar (to make it easier for you i share this)
    -> http://www.sendspace.com/file/ktfuni

    3- Put it in /var/stash/Themes.****/

    4- Activate through winterboard.

    That's it !

    Here are some screenies:

No this is not my actual springboard

Note: I have nothing like iconoclasm installed. The icons will automatically align this way. If you want the icon alignment to be like before you need to install five-irows.(NOT IOS4.0 COMPATIBLE YET!!)

And finally you can still tap to the left & to the right of the page dots to flick screen

Can you post an image of one of your folders open because I want to see what it looks like when one is open. Is the folder stretched, is there a blank space at the bottom, or can you really fit more apps into it.

So from what I can see, the folder completely moves the springboard down, and those icons at the bottom are just your normal icons, not the dock icons?

yeah it moves the springboard down and the three icons 'under' the folder are my normal icons (as you can see on the right screenshot). basically this mod changes nothing but the dock (ORLY?) and the icon alignment. the folder behaves normal. create a folder on the first icon row and open it -> you will see it behaves just like the one on my screenshot (it moves all icons under the folder down)

oh and i dont have any icons in my 'dock' because you wouldnt see the icons if the nodock.theme was applied

(there is absolutely no way to see your dock icons with the theme. uncheck it through winterboard and everything's fine or just put everything out of your dock like i did)

anyway its pretty easy for all of you to test this. i mean you can just go to winterboard and deselect the NoDock.theme to have the original look

How to download via Ifile ? You see I've changed the Icon.png but it never changes, it always reverts to the normal ifile icon !
