(OFFICIAL) How To Clean Your iPod Touch/iPhone Screen

I've been doing this for a while, and you might know this but I thought I would let you guys know anyway.

    1) The first step is to turn off your iPod touch. And if hot, from processes let cool for 5-10 minutes.
    2) Take your iPod out of its case
    3) Place on a paper towel
    4) Get another paper towel and fold until at least somewhere at 2x2 inches long
    5) Get a towel (cloth only!), preferrably small, and just place it next to the paper towel that your iPod is sitting on.
    6) Wet the folded paper towel, and squeeze out the excess water
    7) Apply the wet towel on your iPod hard, to get any grease or etc. off. (back and front), and make sure not to get inside any of the iPod's ports.
    8) Once wetting, immediately take your towel (cloth), and wrap it around your iPod. Also dry your iPod, thoroughly.
    9) Once done wipe your case with the towel (cloth), to make sure you get ALL of the grease or etc. off. I wouldn't really wet your case because it might ruin the texture or its color.
    10) Put your iPod back in its case.
    11) Take a look at your new and improved iPod!

    Some pictures of the results:

I've decided to change the name of the thread and just letting everybody know I'm making this an official iPod touch/iPhone cleaning thread. Where everybody is to tell everybody on how they clean there ipod and etc. For cleaning uses only!

i dont like putting water on mine i just use the sunglasses cloth on it and it cleans it perfectly, and because it has little holes in the cloth it sort of collects moisture which lifts off anythign that could be on the ipod

The best is to get a towel and fold it so it is still long, then get one half wet and rub your iPod on it than take it onto the dry side and rub it but be sure to do slow firm straight wipes

for the silver back, I think using Olive Oil / Cooking Oil (Idk the difference..) works well to get rid of smudges.

I found out another way to clean your iPod.
I don't really now how to put this since I could get banned. But my mom bought some glasses at cosco and it came with some spray and a cloth. I can't really tell you the price or anything. But I'll just say eye glass cleaner works for ipods too.
