    Absolute rubbish..

I have a USB battery and an aftermarket cable, it charges great guns off that.

I have an iGo charger for the car and home, it works excellent.

I have a 240V to USB charger for the wall, and it charges off that.

I have a $2 nasty cheap ipod cigarette lighter charger, and it works fine....

This trash about only apple chargers will work with this unit is pure and utter rubbish.

granted, some chargers/docks wont work, but thats why we evolved into humans with mouths so we can ask salesmen "will this work with my 2nd gen ipod, if not, can i return it, or test it in store?"

I use a blackberry wall charger (with USB connection), works great. Any 220v certified USB wall charger should work, once it has the right size USB connection for your ipod cable, it will work just fine. (unless there's something wrong with the charger).
