Can somebody please help me do this
if you mean safari look up how to make a theme
i mean like how yu put an icon of a website on your home screen
o ok i dont have my ipod at the moment but im pretty sure go into safari and select bookmarks from the bottom bar then hold on add new bookmark
Go to the site that you want to bookmark, press the "+" icon in the middle of the bottom menu, then select "add to homescreen", give it a name and press "done"
no i am wondering how to change the icon of these sites you add to the homescreen
If you have access to the website's server, then you can change it, but everybody sees it.
If you have WinterBoard, you create the icon, then put it into /Library/Themes/THEME/Icons/. Have it named exactly the same way it is on the iPod.
oh wow, those guys totally missed the idea.
i know what you want to do, i asked this before a long time ago.
Yes make a theme, with an icon picture, the 49x49 .png, then put it in that location that he described above, and the name of the icon is going to be the name of the webapp. (or bookmark)
If you bookmarked something and named it "Google" then you would make an icon called "Google" and then go into winterboard and select your theme with the one icon, and then it will be whatever you want.
it will not interfere with anything else btw.
