    Hello all,

I just got an iPod Touch from a friend of mine, and I'm trying to figure out how to change the iTunes account the iPod is associated with. Any suggestions?! Thanks in advance! -- BTR

When you buy a song just put in a different email and password.

There is a way around it

i had this same problem at my aunts there is a way you can go to settings click general then click reset then reset settings. this will take the settings back to origanal settings. the only draw back is you have to rearange your icons but when u try to buy something it will ask for your email address and password so you can put in your correct info to buy stuff for your ipod/iphone

    Changing Your Account

It is not possible to change the account in use on the device itself or to sync multiple accounts to your mobile device. To change the account you are using on your mobile device, go to your computer and sign in to the iTunes Store with the account you want to use on your mobile device, then sync your iPhone or iPod touch with your computer again. This will transfer the new account information to the mobile device. To sign in or out of an account in iTunes choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).

    Yes you can change it

You can change the user by resetting all settings. You do not have to re-sync through itunes

If you use version 3.0 for the iTouch and under the Settings ion there is a Store icon. You can sign in and out to multiple accounts.

You do not need to be connected to iTunes to change accounts - it works seemlessly.
