How to change file permission to 755 via ftp or ssh.

    Can anybody tell me how to change file permission to 755 via ftp or ssh?
    I installed iphone application to touch, but all the applications freeze after launch.

    highlight all the files in the folder you are trying to change permissions to and there should be an option to change it...

    open putty and type in

    /bin/csh

    /bin/chmod -Rf a+x /Applications/*

    works every time

    Can you tell me what is ftp or ssh and how do I use ftp or ssh to change file permission to 755?

    you can also use Squid on iPod to change file to 755
