This is a guide for those of you that want to have more than 200 messages on your ipod.

    1) what you wanna do is SSH into your iPod and go to the directory: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences

    2) find the file named: com.apple.mobilemail.plist and drag it to your desktop

    3) Find a .plist editor, i reccomend this one: http://www.ipodrobot.com/blog/2009/02/free-plist-editor-for-windows-10-released.htm

    4) Now open the .plist and look for <key>RecentMessageCount</key> <string>200</string>

    5) Edit the 200 to whatever number you like...say 1000?

    6) Save, SSH back into your iPod, and REBOOT!

    Enjoy..

Any questions will be answered and please let me know if i am being unclear or something!

**And always remember to back up your original com.apple.mobilemail.plist**

Or you install Supreme Preferences and then you can change it from within the settings.

I don't know if this is in the current 1.6.3 version, but it will be on 2.0.

    Shots:

This one is kinda old, but it shows that the bubble has more recent messages then 200.

I only get like 10 emails a day, none of which are spam or website things.
Just contacting developers, my boss, and picture messaging from my iPod.
Is it really useful to have 200 emails?
