There's an option to deauthorise all computers now for a particular iTunes account. Can't remember how but you shouldn't have to wait until 2010!

Enter the iTunes store, click your account name, beside "Computer Authorisations" there's a button that says "Deauthorise All". I'll post Screenshots in a minute.

I had to call before, as I had already deauthorized all of my computers that year. They will do it for you.

I sent in a request to Apple Support saying that I had a virus, and had to reformat my computer, which shows up as a new one on iTunes. They reset it no questions asked!
