    Doesn't work for me.
    I tried installing
    MakeitMine
    FakeOperator
    iName

    But still doesn't work

MakeitMine messed it a bit, when i tried to change it it shows me as 'device' instead of 'iPod'

I can't even get it removed now, after removing those Cydia Apps it still show 'device'.

    Firmware : 4.2.1
    Device : iPod Touch 3G
    Jailbreak App : Greenpois0n

    Please Help, Swift!

    Hi,

I'm new to all this modding and hacking etc. :p

I followed your tutorial... the barttery percentage did work, but
the fake carrier name didn't work. I exactly did as followed and it still says: iPod
in the left... Please help me? Please... :(

    ~Greetings, MMZ.

Edit: I already know it can't. @Vnge it can't anymore.

Alright, I am kinda new as well.

I have a jailbroken 3rd gen touch with 4.1 os on there. I am wondering exactly if I restore my ipod, do I lose the jailbreak or what?

Also how do I change the status bar name of my ipod to say something other than "iPod"?

This works on iOS 5. Why shouldn't it? One is just modifying a file in the backup that has existed since iOS 1.0 and restoring from the backup.

I would also like to point out that MTGestures work like this too. Just a different <key>.

This most probably will void your warranty. It looks like you jail broke, but hid it.

    I jailbroke 3.1.2, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.3.1-4.3.3 and 5.0
