I have a bunch of videos in avi or mkv formats. How do I batch convert them into mp4 so my touch can play? Handbrake is good but doesn't seem to have the batch conversion feature, i.e., i have to manually select each files, add them into the queue...

    Thank you for your help!

I have vista and XP pro.

    Thanks!

p.s.: A little off topic - is iphone 3.0 software free or not?

Free for iPhone. Not for iPod touch. Also, I'd suggest you use Xvid4PSP's latest Beta. http://winnydows.com/ It has an "Open Folder" function which opens all the files in a certain folder you pick and puts them into a queue then you just click Encode. You'll also need this http://www.cccp-project.net/

Thank you very much for the links!

If I had the iphone 3gs, can I share the 3.0 software with my touch?

No. They aren't the same firmware. Just for over the 10 dollars or wait till 4.0.
