Ok, so im looking to put wallpapers on my ipod touch through WinSCP, i've got the image proper size, its .png format i put it in the directory: /private/var/root/Library/Wallpaper
Now here's my problem, I heard that the thumbnail gets automatically created, but mine doesnt when i go to settings>general>wallpaper the wallpaper i just added is NOT there.
Can someone get me a guide to adding wallpapers through WinSCP correctly?
    thanks

Do you want to have wallpaper on the lock screen or on the springboard? If it is the lock screen why can't you do it through iTunes?

I can do it through iTunes, but its would be quicker to do it through WinSCP and if i dont have the folder of the photos i already have on my ipod it deletes them when syncing, which i dont want to happen.
