how to add apps to custom .ipsw

    I have my custom .ipsw file[pwnage tool] and i would like to add "default apps to it" how would i do this, btw im on a mac, what programs and how?

    you have to have a fresh (non custom) firmare which you can download no harm done, then with the latest pwnage, click create custom fw, then select packages you want, if this is the same as winpwn.

    When the custom firmware is being made and stops part way through and asks for your password, don't enter it. Look on your computer for the LittleBear disk image and open and add apps, and then enter password and let it finish building.

    It's just s ingle file like if you were to drag it out of the apps folder via ssh. Make sure you check which ones will work and which ones won't. Don't do Summerboard and Customize for sure. Do them from installer and don't load to many. I have made firmwares with apps on them but prefer to do them from installer.

    yea, im just doing games and hidepod, is there any way to add sources to installer too?

    Yes, but I don't have time to explain it right now and you need a copy of all the old source lists from you ipod.

    i think the fastest way to do this is ssh into your ipod get all the apps you installed after you pwned our ipod and then put them in your costume folder and it should be done

    (correct me if im wrong)
