Hey, I have downloaded the latest version of Summerboard that is supposedly capable of running properly on 1.1.3. Themes are saved in the correct folder and everything (the new one). Problem is, whenever I click on a theme, it doesn't change the theme at all. At the bottom, it says:
    SMBPrefs 3.1
    SummerBoard 3.1 (Inactive).

I am assuming this is why this problem is occuring? My question is, how do I fix it so themes work? I think it might have to do with creating a link or something? But how do I do that without BossPrefs? Whenever I try to download one of Boss's applications, it gives me a main exucation error or something. I am aware of the fix for this, but it does not apply here, as it ONLY happens with a Boss app. All of the other apps download fine, and I have even tried the fix, but nothing changed.

So, how do I get Summerboard to work?

If you used Nate Trues/iPod Elite team's jailbreak then Summerboard won't work on your iPod. Only the Dev team's jailbreak allows summerboard to function properly.

What exactly does SummerBoard 1.1.3 (Inactive) Mean?

Seriously, what is SMBPrefs looking for to decide if summerboard is active or inactive? A process that's running? A file somewhere?

I'm curious - plus it might help to debug things a bit.

    I see on my touch
    /Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
with SummerBoard (an executable) in there.

However, all the other frameworks are in
    /System/Library/Frameworks.

Trying to manually run SummerBoard from the shell gives me
    zsh: exec format error: /Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework/SummerBoard

    Anyone know the actual details?

you may be using natetrue without knowing it. There are alot of the "easy" installers that use the method. (some via installer.app use a natetrue image, which means it is a natetrue. Ibrickr was just the original way to do it. )

Wow dude we are on ipodtouchfans.com I think that if someone says iPod then we can all agree they are talking about the iPod Touch. It was unnessary to correct him.
