    Here is a thread on how to make the SMS app work! http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318329

    SSH into your iPod or use iFile and navigate to
    System/library/coreservices/springboard.app

    Open and edit your N81AP.plist and add
    Code:
    <key>sms</key>
    <true/>
    <key>telephony</key>
    <true/>
    Navigate to the Applications/MobilePhone.app and edit the info.plist and edit
    Code:
    <string>Icon-FaceTime</string>
    <string>Icon-FaceTime@2x</string>
    <string>Icon-FaceTime-Small</string>
    <string>Icon-FaceTime-Small@2x</string>
    and make them say
    Code:
    <string>icon</string>
    <string>icon@2x</string>
    <string>Icon-Small</string>
    <string>Icon-Small@2x</string>
    Then go to English.lproj in MobilePhone.app and edit the infoplist.strings
    Change "Facetime" to "Phone"

    Make sure its that EXACTLY. Watch out for the lower case i in icon and icon@2x because the rest are upper case.

    Thats it, respring and your done. I'm also working on compass.

    ATM it disables FaceTime if you activate Phone or SMS! Don't do it if you use FaceTime! To undo, just remove the key's.

    lol. haha.
    We should like make a team that can actually do that,
    Hack the iPhone and go inside it, find important things and try to import it on an iPod 4G. That would so cool!
    If this would be considered illegal, tell me and i'll erase the comment.

    Haha all that would really be put in it are settings and the phone, sms, and compass app. I dont think there is anything else the iPhone has? And I can already activate the settings, phone, and sms app.

    Yes, I activated the phone. Wait and ill update the OP to how to do it. Now just need the compass.

    It worked, strangely, when I opened it up, my texts from my iPhone backup appeared.
