I bought an iTouch but can't activate it. I downloaded iTunes from website but there's always a message saying by default the iTunes should be in my music folder, but when I downloaded it, iTunes went to C drive/Program files/

as a result, I can't activate my iTouch after 4 hours trying, very frustrated, I would appreciate your help

    1) Download iTunes from here.
    2) Install it on your computer.
    3) Open iTunes.
    4) Connect your iPod touch to your computer via USB.

    Done.

    I think I know what you're saying

Yes, itunes will be installed in c:/drive program files/itunes.
    Follow through iTunes instructions/suggestions.

um, activate, do you mean like sync? you just download itunes, install it like normal (oh first, remove itunes just in case, its picky) then itll all just be good, you just plug ur ipod in, and everything is gonna be normal.

and yeah itunes is a program, it should be installed in /program files

There should be an icon on your desktop. Double click it?

You don't need to activate your ipod touch. You only need to worry about activation with an iphone, not an ipod touch.

Thank you all for your reply. I tried the whole last night, downloading itunes, tried to open it, but failed to do so and unstall and reinstalled all the time. It always said that can't find My Music folder which itunes should automatically go into. Don't know what to do, and the enthusiasm for getting a new and exciting new toy was totally off.

no no itunes doesnt go into the My Music folder. your music goes into that folder. The default is c:/program files/itunes. Let it install to c:/program files/itunes, then run itunes. then sync. Done deal!
