I own a 3rd generation iPod touch with 3.1.3 firmware. I have a project due this next week and I need to access a file from my ipod. It's inside and I can't get it any other way. My device is not jailbroken and I don't think there is a jailbreak for 3.1.3 3rd generation iPods. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I tried Phonefolders (I think that's what it's called), iFunBox, and DiskAid. They didn't let me get into the main folders. May be because of the 3.1.3 software. Please help me. Thank you all!

You won't be able to get full access to the filesystem without being jailbroken. You need the afc2add package from cydia. That said, a new jailbreak will be coming very soon. Hopefully before your project is due.

You only need afc2add if you are jailbroken with blackra1n. But yes, either way, you need to be jailbroken to gain access to the file system.
