If one keeps a journal or diary on the iPod Touch does iTunes make a copy of all your entries on your PC when you sync?? Could information be sent to the app maker or Apple without your consent???

No. The only thing it gathers is music info when you want to use the Genius feature and that's only if you approve it.

    Yes I think so.

Could be done easily. It would not even be neccessary to sync with iTunes since the info could be send directly from your iPod if you have an active internet connection.

I am pretty positive you could hide a trojan in an AppStore app and Apple would never notice due to their sloppy review procedures.

Yeah, like there are no such things as spyware or trojans. Oh wait...
