    Right so guys,
I'm thinking about jailbreaking my itouch, but cos it's 3G i know it'll have to be tethered.
I haven't actually received my iTouch yet cos I ordered it yesterday

I was just wondering, how often do you run out of battery/need to turn your ipod/it crashes and needs a reboot?

Depending on the amount of use, I charge it every 1-2 days, so my iPod never actually dies. And I never turn it off either. iPods tend to need a reboot after installing something from Cydia so I just install new things at home so I can reboot it right away.

I heard people do that too, but I don't. I just reboot it.

People don't seem to realise, instead of being stupid, when your ipod is about to run out of battery just put it to sleep, problem solved. I haven't turned mine off in a few weeks. And when you get your itouch DON'T update to firmware version 3.1.3

i actually never turn my ipod 3g off.
At first i did not want to jailbreak it, coz of the re-jailbreaking after a reboot. Then i asked myself: when do you reboot your ipod? o.0
Answer: Never. So I jailbroke it.
