I for one will be getting the new iPhone or getting a new iPod touch. I don't even use my old ipod for apps anymore because it crashes so much! So what are your thoughts?

Ya... but I'd like a brand new one plus the new iPhone. BTW love the your device desciption. dying ipod touch 2g.
I get so fed up with how slow it is. I stopped using it for anything but youtube. The batter dies in and hour and a half on youtube as well!

Thanks :D my battery is slowly decreasing month after month. It doesn't bother me all that much yet. I can get maybe two hours to two and a half hours of YouTube.

I wouldn't pay $650 for an unlocked phone from Apple. It depends how good the next iPod touch is gonna be.

The data is what kills it for my parents. So I'm gonna get another job during school and work. Save for collage and pay for the data!

Save your money, it'll help you in the long run. Still, get the job and save up that money and then I guess you decide if it's worth it. however, I'd suggest against a contract if you want to keep your options open to the best extent. Plus, you won't be forking over so much of your hard-earned money to billion dollar company.

The contract is about the only way to get the iPhone besides factory unlocked which is like 600 bucks. I see where your coming from but I want an iPhone and finnally have a means of getting it. I'll take your thoughts into consideration though.
