Id go for 64 GB, even if you dont fill it up, if you feel a device completely it can make it slower (i think), so just go for maxed size

64 GB preferably, but 32 GB should also suit your needs

ipad apps are going to be bigger in size than ipod/iphone apps so i think if you want a lot of apps, you will need 64gb

    doubt it.

64GB would be best if you want everything on it at once. 32GB if you only want a fraction of that stuff on it at once.

    1500 songs -roughly 10GB, 5000 pictures, roughly 5 GB
a couple of movies 5 GB, depending on how you encode them
That leaves about 10GB (or in reality 9 since the formatting) for apps
I highly doubt you'll have 200 apps at once. 10GB sounds reasonable.

However if you have the money go for the 64GB

I've had a 16GB iPhone, 8GB iPod Touch 2G and 16GB 1G Touch and none of them have been big enough. If I were you, I'd fork out the extra few hundred $$/££/€€ and get the 64GB one

64 gig it is then. I upgraded to the 64 gig Touch just because it was there, and it is not 1/2 way full yet.
