I heard it only had about 500 charge cycles until it dies/bricked. Should we be worrying? Because i charge my ipod for the whole day because i wake up, charge and leave my computer on and i only take it back off at night so i can use it to listen to it while i sleep. Should I be worrying about it getting "bricked"?

No, you shouldn't worry. It'll last you at least 2-3 years! Relax.

Lithium-ion batteries tend to have a life span of two years
