does it run badly or what? it has the same RAM from the previous generation, but has an a4 chip. does that even help with multitasking? and is the a4 1 GHz or something else?

No lagg for me, But I usually keep about 8 apps on. It's normal, maybe a little bit faster and smoother.

I dont like the fact that it assumes you want to background every app you exit...

Mine's really zippy and as I'm new to the multi-tasking thing anyway, I tend to end up with about 15-20 apps open most of the time, with no discernible lag or drop in performance.

You could do that, if your on the home screen, but, what if you want to switch from YouTube to facebook fast. And if you multitask, you start off where you left off.

I agree actually. I always have to go through and close each one from the multi-tasking bit if I want to close the apps down completely and with a couple of dozen to trawl through it takes a while! Or am I missing something....?
