How i desactivate de speaker f the itouch 2ndG

    I need to desactivate the speaker of the ipod because it does not work in the dock Altec Lansing T612. is that the problem??

    Note that there are two different volume settings that the iPod saves - speaker volume and headphone volume. Just unplug any headphone/dock adapter and lower the volume to the minimum, replug and you can change the volume of the speaker independently

    The speaker has nothing to do with it not working with your Dock.
    It's just because the iPod itself doesn't work with it.
