How do ipods end up getting bricked? Is it by carelessness or is it just the risk of jailbreaking your ipod.

because blackra1n seems like a pretty brick-proof thing, but i could be wrong.

I don't even think it's that high, unless u try to dual boot, it's nearly impossible; but Advice: if u ever think it's bricked don't freak out, just breathe and politely as a question or search

    Step one: Get a BRICK.
Step two: Slam the BRICK on your IPOD.
Step three: Repeat step two until you're iPod won't turn on anymore!
Step four: You now have a BRICKED IPOD!

    Enjoy!

By the way, it is a hardware thing. It's nearly impossible unless you open it... Or dual boot, but I'm not 100% sure about this one...

I don't mean to be off topic, but how do you dual boot.
