When you return something for some reason, they inspect it, repair it, clean it and put it back on sale?

So some people get used iPods and some get new iPods?

Here in NZ we get a 14 day guarantee. We can get exchange or refund within 14 days if there's problem with your iPod. (They give you a new iPod) What they do with the old one, I'm not too sure. Maybe return it to Apple and Apple sells them as refurbished in their site? Quite a possibility. Anyway if you find a problem but 14 days had passed they will send it to Apple for inspection and repair ( For free ) The SalesMan told me it would take 3-4 weeks, which is pretty long and can be frustrating.
