How do you transfer DVD's to iPod?

    I have my favorite show on DVD and would like to transfer to my iPod.

    Is this possible?

    yeah get a dvd ripper, cyberserg.com is where you can find a good one, then get a converter and covet to mp4

    use handbrake.... works well for all dvd formats... and pretty damn fast. Just make sure its set up resolution correctly

    Thanks everyone, but I downloaded a couple different ones last night and they wouldn't work or else tried to get me to buy it after I downloaded a free 'trial'.

    Is there a good free one available?

    Handbrake. BTW What OS are you using?. Either way the answer is still Handbrake.

    This is driving me insane.

    I downloaded one that works, now how do I get the tv show transferred to itunes??

    I used DVDFab Platinum.

    In iTunes you click File>Add file to library and find your movie file.

    Roxio Popcorn 3 is pretty slick too and now converts videos for iPhone/iPod Touch
