I've never used AptBackup, so I'm not sure.

But when you restore, you lse everything related to jailbreaking (except some settings).
I thought it was just a file you take from your iPod/iPhone before restoring?

AptBackup saves Cydia app info in your iPod backup, so make sure you backup your iPod before restoring it. When you restore it, you'll have to choose to restore from a backup (the one with the AptBackup info).

But if you have categories take all the apps out of categories and uninstall in because if you have categories and restore from a backup you'll run into problems.

i read that aptbackup stores your cydia apps on cydia and all you have to do is rejailbreak. redownload aptbackup and select restore
