How do you restore apps through ssh?

    when i was messing around with my ipod i was worried i might delete all my stuff. so i took a couple apps and copied them onto my desktop using SSH...... today i tried copying them on my ipod in applications but it didnt seem to work.... any other ideas?

    What do you mean it didn't work? Like the apps didn't show up on your iPod or what? Did you restart your iPod?

    if u can see them under the /Applications folder then they should be in your ipod.... and like awal1190 said u need to either respring or restart your ipod in order to the effects to take place

    make sure you set the correct permissions too.

    they are in aplications..... they wont show up on my spring board when i tried setting permissions to 777 instead of 755 it said there was some error
