How do you remove voice memos?

    hey i just jailbroke my ipod touch 2g in firmware 3.0 and it came with voice memos.

    i would just like to know if there is any possible way to remove it. im not going to need it since i have to mircophone on my ipod touch.

    ummm.... the only way i can think of, is to jailbreak it and hide it with something called 'poof'.

    To jialbreak, use Redsn0w.

    sbsettings can do the same thing... although it only hides it from springboard.. it doesn't delete

    You can also just delete the "Memos.app" folder from the iPod if you SSH into it. That will get rid of most of the program's files. most don't reccomend doing it that way because you're deleting system files but I've had no problems with doing so.

    You can also hide with SBSettings if you're worried it will mess things up.

    i used sbsettings no problems. hid that stocks and one of the other ones i will never use

    In 2.2.1 I also hid Stocks with SBSettings. As a result, it messed up my SpringBoard somehow. I wasn't able to make Stocks reappear.

    Just make a new page and move all useless Apps there. Clean and safe.

    I hid stocks and voice memos, then uninstalled poof, works like a charm

    I used DiskAid on it's ass.

    But not before saving these folders to my PC as backup:
    VoiceMemos.app
    Stocks.app
    Nike.app

    Didn't get rid of that Nike icon from Settings, tho... How do I do that ?
