I have Backgrounder installed, and whatever I try to do, the music can never stay in the background when I open some games. I kept trying with PapiJump but the music always stopped as soon as I pressed start.

If you have Activator, just assign iPod controls to any activation method and you'll be able to make your music play in games with the music popup. You can also use MusicBar Extended.
