how do you guys think the touch will be hacked for the next update?

    apple will most likely take out the safari exploit in the update ive heard..

    so how do u guys think the new , way of doing it will be?

    We don't know yet. My advice is not to do the update if you only have one touch.

    Uhmm.. apple is allowing third party apps.. so iuno.. what more hacking we might need :\

    I'm thinking that we may never update and the hackers will find a way to add all the new apps or updates to our existing firmware. This is kind of how it works with the psp. What im curious about is how we are going to restore to 1.1.1 if needed.

    When I got the original nano, you could choose to use a firmware file on your computer. That's how you could change "iPod" to any other five characters. I haven't tried it yet, but if this version of itunes still allows that, then it wouldn't be a problem. If it doesn't, then you're iPHUC'ed.
