How do you get it into DFU mode ?

    My top button for my 8 GB Itouch broke after I accidently dropped it, but now I want to jailbreak it. Also it will not turn off at all. Need Help Please?

    Yes there isn't any other way to get into the DFU mode

    To get it into DFU mode, hold down the Power and Home buttons for ten seconds, then release the Power button and hold the Home button for ten more seconds, then release.

    It now suddenly works and all but it now randomly turns off by itself. My father got it from Best Buy for me on Christmas and I'm not sure of what i am going to have to do if it doesn't have a warranty.
