hey guys how do you free your memory on your ipod touch 2g, i know the obvious way would be to reboot? but i dnt like rebooting my ipod atm. since i have a little difficulty putting it in dfu. i heard about free memory, but then i heard you have to pay for it and im pretty cheap so im not willing to. so if anyone can share their methods of how they free their memory would be great.

    thanks

open an app, hold home button for 5 seconds, when it closes, you're memory will be better because it closes outside apps.

Free Memory 1.4 is actually pretty cool. It can free up to 20 MB of memory. It also has a cool battery meter thats more accurate than the standard one in the upper left corner of the screen. Although, sadly, the next update, Free Memory 1.5 is taking away that battery feature (which I'm really pissed about!). Apple doesn't allow the meter.

But it offers to free 30 MB of memory. Your choice...
